Rain, rain, rain. I had to put on my raincoat just so I don’t get totally drenched. It’s been awhile since I had to put on a rain coat. It’s been mainly warm, hot, sizzling.
In the rain we went to lunch with Ellen and Kai at Thomas Cubitt.
I got my regular bowl of water and some chips handed down to me.
We went for cupcake and tea at Peggy Porschen (again!) and I got nothing.
Finally we came home – couldn’t wait to get inside. I don’t like going out in the rain but I have to for obvious reasons.
May’s comment: Raincoat was bought at Canine Styles, Lexington Avenue, New York City. Wide selection of coats and sweaters and lots of collars and leads. One of the best pet shops.

It’s called Canine Styles – Upper East side. Just give her the length you require. They have sweaters and rain coats of all colours and material.
They also have a practical lead that I use sometimes – you can adjust the length and unbuckle at the handle if you need to tie her down when sitting down at a restaurant.
