There are mornings when you don’t feel like getting up. And I know how Mummy felt yesterday.
Little Tyke and his Daddy have left to go back to Thailand. And for the first day in a long time, we didn’t have things planned. So we all had a little curl-up morning even though the sun was shining.
But long after the alarm had gone off, and the second time as well, George and I wondered if she had forgotten about us.
So I said to George, maybe you should jump on her head and let her know we need to be fed!
And so he did!
And we got fed our breakfast. Phew!
May’s comment: It had been a busy summer when Sasha was in London. We packed in so much – whether with or without the dogs. And then the morning after he had left, I had a day with no plans. I was hesitant getting out of bed, wondering what to do with myself with no planned agendas for the day … but thank goodness for my dogs, they helped to quickly put things in perspective. Life goes on. Sasha’s gone home to get on with his life and I need to do the same with mine. We had a lovely interlude. Crappy summer weather from someone who hardly complains about the weather but regardless, we managed to have a splendid summer.
