Little Tyke asked his Daddy, “Can I take George with us? Can I? Can I, Daddy?”
Thankfully, his daddy explained to Little Tyke that George belongs to us. He was very upset though and was about to cry when Mummy told him …
that when he comes back to London, Georgie could be his dog. Yay! He said. His Daddy – hmmm, not so sure.
Even though Little Tyke and I have known each other longer, I guess he knows I am Mummy’s dog. Well, so is Georgie but if he has Georgie, he is still in the family.
It doesn’t surprise me that Little Tyke loves Georgie. First, he’s more Little Tyke’s size.
They walk together very nicely.
Even when he’s on his scooter, Georgie just goes alongside him.
He feels that he can manage Georgie better than me. He would ask to have Georgie sit on his lap.
Little Tyke even went with Georgie to the vet to make sure he’s ok.
And George found someone who can spend all day giving him tummy rubs.
But you see, Little Tyke is not the only person who wants George. Do you remember the boy who wanted a dog after he met me? And then he didn’t because he had to pick up my poo? 
Well, he loves George too. And he would take Georgie any time he could.
But George is safe here as his mummy said – absolutely not!
So I guess in the end, George is quite the one favoured by kids.
May’s comment: Again and again Georgie wins hearts. He is a gentle soul and the only time he’s aggressive these days is when another small dog becomes too invasive. With children he lets them do whatever they want with him – but I am watching ever so carefully just so he doesn’t start to hate being handled by them.
It isn’t just kids that Georgie appeals to. There were so many who wanted George when I first got him. It made me more protective of him each time. But for Sasha aka Little Tyke, I would happily let him have George – when he moves back to London. He will still be in the family and it will allow Sasha to have his own pet.
