Wakey! Wakey!

Sometimes Mummy doesn’t get out of bed when the alarm goes off.  So we try all sorts of things to subtly wake her up … like curling up on the pillow next to her head! LOL!

IMG_0172Sometimes I would stare down at her, hoping that would wake her up. IMG_0238And Georgie would do the same.IMG_0155Wouldn’t you just jump out of your skin when you see that face looking at you?!?!?! LOL!

He would wait so long and with such patience that he had to eventually stretch his neck.IMG_0156Even he had to lie down after trying without success – for Mummy to stir. IMG_0173So one day after we’ve done our staring down at her and curling up by her head, we tried something different.  Instead of lying around waiting for her to stir, we decided to play on the bed!

That did the trick!  Well, for one, it made her take videos of us playing – so she had to wake up for that. And after that, there was no more lying in! BREAKFAST – at long last!!!

May’s comment: What those doggies do not realise is when they curl up next to me, I don’t want to move!  So bad tactic when they think that by plonking themselves next to me I would wake up. I love lying in especially when my doggies are cuddling up. 🙂  What better way to wake up in the morning. OK, maybe a drop-dead gorgeous hunk of a man looking down at me lovingly might be nice. 😉

Oh Miss Darcy! It’s true! Cuddling up with Mummy makes it even harder for her to get out of bed! It is the same for me and my Gina! Loved the video of you and George!

  2. I love your blog! My boyf and I are always imagining our pup Bears thoughts and feelings on life … We have decided if he could talk he’d sound just like “Paddington”, in the movie lol… Anyway your blog always puts a smile on my face, no matter what mood I’m in, Darcy and George always lift my spirits, they’re gorgeous! X

That was such a sweet and uplifting note.
I was just thinking last night – I am getting a bit tired of writing and thought to take a break.
And then you popped up today and gave me a new lease of life! 🙂
It’s messages like yours that keeps me going – for the sole purpose of making people smile.
      Thank you again!

Oh, Jodie, thank you. We love writing the blogs but some days, I wonder why I do it. It does consume a good amount of time but it is the best part of the day for me. If I know it makes someone happy then it is worth every ounce of effort! Thank you for reading!
