Valentine’s Day is often associated with flowers, cards, and romantic gestures, but for many of us, love has four legs, a wagging tail, and an uncanny ability to make every day better. 🐶❤️
So why do we celebrate Valentine’s Day at all, when love should be shown every day?
Maybe it’s because this day reminds us to pause. To look at the ones who love us unconditionally and say, you matter.
George and Lulu don’t need grand gestures. They don’t care about fancy plans or wrapped gifts. They feel love in the everyday moments: the walks, the cuddles, the routines, and the way we care for them when no one is watching. Love, to them, is consistency – especially when it involves food!
Valentine’s Day can be a gentle reminder that love isn’t just a feeling, it’s an action. It’s choosing what’s best for them, from time and attention to the food we put in their bowls. It’s showing up for them in the same loyal way they show up for us.
So this Valentine’s Day, whether you’re celebrating with a partner, friends, or your furry best friend, take a moment to tell them they matter. Not just today, but every single day.
We went to Le Cafe to celebrate love. How can you not?

And we had their Valentine’s special made of chocolate sponge, raspberry compote, Guanaja 70% dark chocolate mousse, chocolate crunch, a red velvet spray, and a white chocolate feather.

On our way home, we made a stop at Gucci at Harrods, where we were kindly invited to collect a bespoke piece of calligraphy featuring a quote of our choice.
The words I chose felt perfectly fitting:
“Forever connected by the heart.”
Some moments don’t need many words, just the right ones.

My three Valentines – now and forever.
