No rain, no rainbow

IMG_7689

My goodness gracious me – what a downpour it was all yesterday. Regardless, walk we must!

And if there’s no rain, there would be no rainbow! Though we didn’t;t see one yesterday.
But not for grumpy George, who still doesn’t want to associate himself with us – meaning Churchill and friends. Never seen him refusing a walk but of late, he prefers to be with Mummy these days. And clever him – he didn’t get drowned like we did.Instead clever George went to physio with Mummy And after that, Mummy took him to work with her …But where’s George? In his back pack!!!!

May’s comment: Another use for that back pack! George had become very attached to me of late, probably because of Churchill’s presence. He chooses not to go for walks with the pack – unheard of!  He rather stays with me. As part of the day involves going to a home being refurbished, I have to carry him.  Yesterday I thought, I’ll put him in the backpack! Well, he sat happily in it while I went about doing what I had to do. I even forgot he was on my back! Not a peep! Apparently, at times he dozed off. 🙂

Yesterday was an unusually wet day. Poor doggies out for a walk. They looked like drowned rats except for the Equafleeces which kept their bodies dry – but their heads and tails were soaking wet.  Rain is not unusual in London but yesterday was a downpour. And signage in tube stations always says the right thing, usually quite philosophical.Photo courtesy of Alex. Thank you!

  1. I wonder if George would pull a run off now? Poor baby must be so worried about Churchill taking his place. He’s showing the love. ❤️
