An early morning rise … to Waterloo!
On the train to Branksome
We’re going for a day on the beach but alas the warm weather from the last few days seems to have moved on.
Nicky and Lee picked us up from Branksome station to the beach.
It was raining but not quite the downpour when we were last at Sandbanks in February.
Regardless, we ran and we played. Nothing would stop us from having fun.

There were a few others
I ran into the water
And a wave came over me – all wet now form rain and sea!
But Georgie – still would not get anywhere near the water –
… he skimmed the edge of it
What we learnt was that, like a lot of beaches, dogs are not allowed on the beach between the 1st May till the 30th September.
This is a Blue Beach – sure makes us blue.
We were only allowed to be on the beach at the far end.
Never mind, we went back to The Plantation Hotel to have a cuppa with Nicky and Lee.
We were hoping to have met their labradoodles – Daphne and Dottie – but they have been unwell and thought better not to pass on the virus they seem to have.
May’s comment: Another rainy day at Sandbanks but never mind. It was still a good run. My dogs do not mind the weather as long as they get to run.

LOVED all the photos of the dogs on the beach…perfect examples of exactly what the word, freedom, means…
I love to see dogs ( especially cockapoos 😉 !) Running enjoying themselves just how they should be ,georgie you are very cute too but I have a cockapoo so I’m biased xxx
Love seeing the dogs run around. Here in Australia a lot of beaches allow dogs on beach, leash free from 7pm to 7am, other beaches they have to be on leash at all times, and then there’s a few beaches, no dogs allowed anytime of year..!! Also love to see the dogs (wet) allowed in hotels, etc, forgotten how dog friendly UK is. We are not allowed our pups at many cafes, even when sitting outside!!
D’Arcy looks so cute at the tea table all drenched! She looks like she could use a good cup of tea
