After our breakfast, we checked out our loot under the tree.
There were toys …
And definitely lots of treats!
There was a very special one from my brother! Thank you Milo and family.
A special ornament for George to add to our doggy collection.
And Mummy got a tote bag that said “I love Darcy” from Aunty Jane.
She had bought it last Summer before George came to live with us. Don’t worry George, Mummy will write your name on the bag.
Actually as it turned out he really wasn’t so concerned his name was not on the bag. Georgie was investigating the sack that had all our presses in it.
Well, to cut a long story short, he managed to get the pack of Lily’s Kitchen Turkey and Cranberry treats out of the bag. Mummy had opened that box earlier as a Christmas Day treat.
Well, George and I helped ourselves to the entire bag of treats. When Mummy saw what we did, she was a bit blasé about it as they were dry dog biscuits. And after all it is Christmas!
Later that evening when we were all lying in bed watching Downton Abbey’s Christmas Special, Georgie’s digestion system was not co-operating!!!
Phew! Really, George?
When Downton Abbey was over, Mummy ran us out the door and walked us till Georgie had a poo. He was not coming back on the bed till he was rid of the massive biscuits he had eaten.
May’s comment: Thank goodness it was legit dog biscuits and none of the very toxic human Christmas treats that he managed to gulp down. And I was probably a lot more relaxed about the incident as it was after all Christmas.
As George has been on raw food diet the last three months, and his system has been sufficiently detoxed, the biscuit treats probably played havoc to his digestion.
Darcy on the other hand, seems more hardy these days.

Beautiful pictures of a very happy family. I’m sure George enjoyed the biscuits and everyone overeats at Christmas, ours did too!
Merry Christmas May, Darcy and George xxx
Belated Christmas wishes to you all. …We’ve had a great time although my lovely humans have been poorly with a nasty virus which makes them sound as if they’re barking….it’s a bit odd. ..enjoy the rest of your festivities and yummy food. Xx
Poor George! We all over indulge at this time of year so he was just going with the flow. A happy New Year to you all. I’m off up to Scotland tomorow and will miss my Maggie cuddles.
