Paddington is Back

Our beloved bear, Paddington, is back! Earlier today, we attended a dog-friendly screening of Paddington in Peru at Picturehouse Central, one of several Picturehouse cinemas that host dog-friendly showings.

This was a first-time cinema experience for Lulu, while George, the seasoned moviegoer, knew the ropes (rather the popcorn). Both were dressed for the occasion in their @DarcyGeorgeLondon blue duffle coats and red hats, channeling their inner Paddingtons! And met Yumi who was there too.

Along with our friend, Darcy, we’ve also been following our own mini Paddington Trail, snapping photos with various Paddington Bear statues around town.

Each stop has been a little adventure, filled with so much joy and laughter – and the pupparazi.

And we loved placing Lulu amongst the bears.

The latest Paddington film is a heartwarming journey that sees Paddington Bear travel to Peru to connect with his roots. At its heart, the film celebrates themes of identity, family, and self-discovery. As Paddington ventures into his homeland, he learns about the significance of understanding where you come from and the power of reconnecting with your origins, even when it means stepping out of your comfort zone.

Throughout his adventure, Paddington’s curiosity, kindness, and resilience shine. Though far from his London home, he brings joy and goodwill wherever he goes, relying on his optimism to guide him through Peru’s unknown landscapes.

Paddington in Peru reminds us to embrace new experiences, cherish the ties that bind us to our past, and find joy in the journey—delivered, of course, with Paddington’s signature charm and humour. With scenic views, heartfelt moments, and plenty of laughs, the film invites audiences to celebrate love, loyalty, and the spirit of adventure.

About DarcyGeorgeLondon – a dream project that I was working on pre-Covid. A range of dog coats that was both stylish and did their work in protecting their bodies from walking on the city

Mr. Darcy, George and Lulu were wearing one of the DarcyGeorgeLondon collection that I had created pre-Covid. Darcy first wore this in November 2019.
