How lovely it is that they make it sound so much better by calling it ‘LOVE’ instead of Zero or Nought!
Every time Mum goes to Wimbledon she buys us tennis balls. Darcy loved her tennis balls but she liked it the regular size. One year she had Darcy think that she was shrinking … Mum thought that was funny.

And she would have us in our tennis whites every season. Remembering the last time we posed together in June 2018 – wrist bands, Wimbledon green and purple leads. Darcy even had a Wimbledon cap. And of course Mum’s growing collection of tennis balls.

This year, she did buy me a tennis ball even though she knows I don’t care for them. But it was a pink one. Pink was one of Darcy’s colours.

And she also bought me a George-size tennis racquet and ball. I am trying to look tough and mean – scaring my opponent!

May’s comment: George doesn’t like any balls. He doesn’t know what to do with them. They frighten him. In fact, I wonder do small dogs play fetch? So this year, I bought a pink tennis ball, as a gesture in memory of Darcy.
Wimbledon is one of the highlights on the British Summer calendar. And no matter the weather, we all still make an occasion out of it. And I never miss a chance to go whenever I can. It is the only time that I don’t even think twice if I would go because I have to leave my dogs. LOL!
This year I left George for the day with Fiona and Missy! And let’s say, I had fun.

And of course, the must have strawberries and cream!

2020 and 2021 trips both cancelled. 2022 felt a bit unsure but missed it so much. 2023 already booked. Yay.
I hope we’ll see you then! We hope to make it there too.
