Puzzled?

IMG_8492

It’s been ages since I last did a puzzle. My excuse – I don’t have the time, and it will probably take a while to complete so I needed a place to lay it out. Just excuses, really! I think I was just afraid I couldn’t finish it.

Craft Hub contacted us and asked if we would like to try one of their puzzles. Of course I chose the dog-themed ones – and they have it in almost every breed.

Since there wasn’t one that looked anything like George, I chose a Bichon Frise for Lulu (she is 2%), because it looked more like her than the poodle.

I hesitated to start as I dreaded thinking how long it was going to take me to complete it. But as soon as I got started, I couldn’t stop. Luckily it was a Sunday so there was little else to do. In between taking the dogs out for walkies, I managed to finish our puzzle within a day!

Voila!!!

What made it so much more fun is that each of the wooden pieces is weird and wonderfully shaped and made it more challenging. Within each of the dog puzzles, there are dog-themed pieces – a few corgis and labradors in the Bichon Frise, and bones and dog bowls.

The pieces are made from an eco-friendly yet durable 4mm thick wood and fitted easily. They are also amazing pieces of artwork.

We had invited Michelle and Alice to join us in our challenge.

I think we all did the puzzles within a day! But who was the fastest?

Visit the range of puzzles from Craft Hub – a premier destination for individuals who appreciate the art of puzzle-solving and the beauty of craftsmanship. Their curated range of wooden puzzles combines intricate design, meticulous detailing, making each puzzle piece a work of art in its own right. There is an amazing range of dog breed puzzles.

Working on puzzles provide a mentally stimulating challenge that exercises the brain but at the same time, a calming and meditative activity. It most definitely got me away from screen time – on the phone or the telly. Though I was impatient to finish it, it took concentration and perseverance. And I felt a sense of achievement and satisfaction.

They also make terrific gifts – it maybe May, but I have just ticked off a few names on the Christmas list! LOL!

Enjoy the challenge of being PUZZLED!
