On our last day in Berlin, Renate took us to visit the “Gut Klostermühle” which is situated on the Madlitzer Lake.
She told Mummy that she had to plan it such that all of us had something to do. It was a good 40 minute drive – we didn’t know where we were going.
But once we got there – oh my goodness! How much fun! And here, unlike being at Sanssouci Park, we ran to our hearts content.
But business first – in sync!
We ventured out onto the lake …
And as George was taking it slowly, unsure of the planks …
I’ve already been to the end and back. – I think Mummy was more nervous than George – afraid he would jump into the lake.
George was still sniffing around when I was ready for the next part – come on George!
As Mummy and Renate walked through the woods – we were running so fast that no way could the iPhone camera keep up with us. I was a constant blur! 🙂
Look how funny George runs – sideways!
The only place where we were not allowed inside was the spa. We had to wait while Mummy did the tour.
And just as we were leaving, we saw these two dog sculptures at the gate leading to the forest. Cool dudes!
It was altogether a very pleasant run for George and I but all our legs were covered with burs and Mummy had to pick them all out! Oops!
May’s comment: What an oasis – and dogs are welcomed. A good place to run away with doggies and spend a week here. Situated on a lake and surrounded by forests, the air was fresh and the whole atmosphere was one of serenity.
Next trip?
