Mummy had been shocked and disappointed by other events that had occurred throughout the series, but never so upset over any as she was last night.
May’s comment: As expected, a drastic solution to ending the issue of her name.
The first dog on Downton Abbey was called Pharaoh. Isis is named after the senior goddess of ancient Egypt. Both dogs are given such names because of Highclere’s connection to Egyptology. But such a bad coincidence.
