It doesn’t sound right, does it? Grooming for a countryside holiday where I will be running across fields, through woods and on the beach for the next two weeks while Mummy takes off on her own trip.
That’s because Mummy thought that my recent long-locks wouldn’t serve me well – in the wilderness.
“And,” she said, “I can’t see your eyes, Miss D.”
First the humiliating look
See how skinny I really am under all that fluff.
We opted for a shorter cut before heading out to the House of Mutt later today.
Don’t you think I look rather too fluffed up for the fields?
The thing is I know we will be due a good wash again before we’re allowed back home. 🙂
P.S. And Georgie is spending time with his girlfriend, Jaffa – in the city and in the country.
May’s comment: So sad thinking about leaving the two doggies behind but there’s a time for everything. It’s my turn to travel without them. But I will be counting the days before I see them again.

Have you packed ‘ imposter’ May? Do you have a little Georgie imposter yet?
Hi Maggie, I haven’t decided. LOL! Been thinking about it. I had considered doing one of George but harder to carry two!
