So what did you do today?

IMG_4708

I wasn’t sure what was in store for us today, but the day began with George going off with Jaffa for walkies which meant …

I have Mummy day!!!

Which meant I get to sit on Mummy’s lap when we get in the taxi – where it is usually occupied by George.

I didn’t know where we were going until we arrived. You remember that place that was scary for us – where George ran away and I did too? Well, I am glad to report that things were a lot calmer today – no more big men making loud noises. And everything seemed new, even Boo’s bed.Have we told you about Boo? Don’t you think he looks like me? But Boo is not even a doodle.
But we do have something in common – we both have cocker spaniel in our DNA, but Boo is crossed with a Bichon Frise. And he kindly shared his new Mungo and Maud bed with me.

We soon took leave to have lunch at Locanda Locatelli One of our favourite restaurants in London – and we were not sitting at the Chef’s table where doggies who lunch usually do. We were sat at a normal table.

Without even having to ask, they brought me water to drink. But I had not realised we were having lunch with our friend, Marley! And I was so happy to see Marley’s mummy again! But being in a Michelin star restaurant doesn’t change my behaviour when it comes to food!Focusing really hard on that plate of sweeties. After a long lunch we went home – Mummy left me for a few minutes as she ran off to a meeting as well as give Georgie his dinner – all this time he was with Jaffa. And then we were off again – this time we went to 11 Pimlico Road – to meet Freddie for a quick bite before going to a launch event!Yes, Freddie and I, we’re off to a social event at Cambridge Street Kitchen for a launch of a new dog food – Srumbles!  Hmmm. How do I open this package?Freddie, what do you think?  Do you think they want us to try this new food?  Isn’t this a product launch after all? We can completely do a product review. It so doesn’t make sense that we pose with the packaging.

Ooh-la-la! And see who we ran into – Bon jour, Marcel! I met Marcel very briefly a few years ago but our world has changed so much since then.  These days we run into each other at doggy social events. LOL!

Well, that was a long day. We’ve travelled all the way to North London, dined at three dog-friendly restaurants (Locanda Locatelli, 11 Pimlico Road, Cambridge Street Kitchen, met up with lots of friends, went to a social gathering – all in one day. I’m pooped!

May’s comment: What about me? Still have to write your blog! Time for bed.
