LA Social

I am loving socialising in LA soooo much. See all these other new friends I have met.

These are friends on Instagram –

Arne, Gracie and Dulce.

We had met earlier in the day to go to the Wonder of Space – a whimsical, immersive space for Instagram photos. So it was appropriate that we met there. Will tell you more about this Wonder Space in another blog.

Hours later and lots and lots of photographs, we left Hollywood for Century City. There’s a shop at Westfield that Mum wanted ton check out – Modern Beast.

Look what Mum bought me.

This way I can carry my own treats and poo bags. Problem is I can’t dig into the bag when its on my back.

After we were done shopping at Westfield, we had another date at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Rodeo Drive …

The setting for “Pretty Woman” – and like Julia Roberts, we strutted through the lobby …

Such pretty flowers in the lobby – typical of Four Season’s hotels.

Catching people’s attention because I was posing with the flower arrangement.

And then walked out to the patio of the BLVD restaurant to meet Smush and his mum.

This is Karen, Smush’s mum
Smush, Karen, Mum and me staring at the nibbles.

Can you guess what Smush is?

He is a Maltese crossed with a Pomeranian – a Malti-Pom

Smush was found flirting with the people sitting at the next table.

And soon the lady was calling her family in Pennsylvania to show her kids – Smush.

What a treat it was to be able to sit and watch the world go by as Mum and Karen had a lovely catch-up and I got to meet Smush. But that was not the end of our social calendar. Next stop – Hotel Bel Air.

One of Mum’s favourite hotels.

So much greenery and the bougainvilleas.

We weaved our way around the property – taking in the calmness of the place.

When we got back to our table – we were seated outside at the patio.

They had brought me a Wolfgang Puck biscuit.

Thank you so much.

We were having dinner with Mum’s friends – Laura and Angela at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant.

And they surprised her with yet another birthday celebration – this time in L.A.

May’s comment:

Another lovely day socialising in LA – meeting old and new friends. And the celebration continues – LOL
