Aunty Vivienne came to have Sunday Roast with us yesterday.
She visits ever so often from Malaysia and when she’s not in Cardiff, she visits with Mummy – usually without me because they like going to Four Seasons or other Asian type restaurants in Queensway that do not like dogs!!!
But Aunty Vivienne asked to see me yesterday so she came over to our neck of the woods to have Sunday Roast at Henry Root.
We like going to Henry Root not only because it is really close to where we live but also because it is one of the first restaurants we found who like dogs! And me and Mummy are regulars – they always come with a bowl of water for me.
It has a really nice comfy feeling about the place and we always feel very comfortable here.
Most of the time I am under the table but every now and then I get to see what’s on it! I LIKE sticky toffee pudding!
May’s comment: Henry Root on 7 Park Walk is a lovely welcoming neighbourhood place – it feels like dining at someone’s home. The staff is welcoming and they serve a menu that is not the usual – a little taste of French and an interesting twist to normal English fare. Most of all they like Darcy!
