Last evening we got on the Caledonian Sleeper – the 21.15 overnight train to go to Scotland.
It was a little cabin – the bed was hardly big enough for me and Mummy.
I was a little uncertain to begin with but by the end of the journey, I was very comfortable.
The tartan blanket matched my collar
May’s comment: A tight squeeze but it was fine. Not much sleep though and as the sun rose at 5am, I awoke to take in the scenery. Absolutely beautiful. We arrived in Inverness just after 8:30. Two cabs turned us down – hard to believe since we’re in Scotland but the cabbie who took us obviously has his own dogs – so we had a nice chatty journey to Culloden House.
