Tears and Rain

IMG_5862

It seems so apt that it should rain all day today – the kind of rain that never seem to want to stop.  Like the pain in the hearts of those whose lives have been affected in some way from last night’s attacks in Paris.

May’s comment:   The dreariness of the weather today reflects the heaviness of our hearts. The never ending rain is like the tears that flowed when we think of the many who are suffering, hurting and grieving because of the tragedy that was last night in a city that we know.

To a city that has brought us many beautiful memories, we grief with you for the lives that were lost and grieving with those who lost loved ones – because of someone’s radical ideas and hatred of humankind.

But we must not let them triumph. We must go on. We must live life.

  1. Such atrocities are unbelievable, but we must hope that the kindness and selflessness of human kind will win!

  2. But for the kindness of strangers the world would be an even sadder place. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people of Paris a city that holds a special place in my heart..the first “foreign” place I ever visited for my honeymoon in 1967…sleep tight and in safety.

  3. So so sad, just cannot figure out why there is so much hatred in this world! Pray that God will lessen the pain of all those who got hurt and suffered in this insane incident!
