A Mouse is not a Rat!

Chinese New Year 2020 is the Year of the Rat.

Mum thought she could dress us in things of the famous Mouse.

She thought she was dressing us up appropriately for the Chinese New Year.

She didn’t realise that a mouse is not a rat. There are three distinguished differences between a Rat and a Mouse –

  1. A mouse has larger ears than a rat (so those Minnie ears won’t do)
  2. Rats have thicker tails (at least George has a “thick” tail)
  3. Rats feet are larger

The Chinese Horoscope animal is a RAT!

But look – they’re celebrating Year of the Mouse at Disney World!

Happy Year of the rodent! We are inclusive – Mouse of Rat!

Me with Minnie ears and George has a mouse on his head. We’re all set.

May’s comment: Happy Lunar New Year!

The Rat is the first of all zodiac animals. In Chinese horoscope, rats are clever, quick thinkers, successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life.

Wishing You A Very Happy New Year. Don’t think George looked too impressed with his Grey outfit. I love Darcy and George’s outfits where George is wearing the blue and yellow, he looks very regal. Darcy looks fabulous wearing the red ensemble, any chance of seeing them to get a better view of the patterns please. Cheerio for now
