Chinese New Year 2020 is the Year of the Rat.
Mum thought she could dress us in things of the famous Mouse.
She thought she was dressing us up appropriately for the Chinese New Year.
She didn’t realise that a mouse is not a rat. There are three distinguished differences between a Rat and a Mouse –
- A mouse has larger ears than a rat (so those Minnie ears won’t do)
- Rats have thicker tails (at least George has a “thick” tail)
- Rats feet are larger
The Chinese Horoscope animal is a RAT!
But look – they’re celebrating Year of the Mouse at Disney World!

The Rat is the first of all zodiac animals. In Chinese horoscope, rats are clever, quick thinkers, successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life.
