The secret, Alice, is to surround yourself with people who make your heart smile. It’s then, only then, that you’ll find Wonderland. Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland.
I am definitely not know for being smiley but for today, I will try …

George: “C’mon Darcy, you can do it.”

How about a tongue out smile?

George is so much better at this than me. He has a toothy smile – with a few missing teeth.

Today is World Smile Day – and we are to do an act of kindness to make someone smile. I hope today’s blog made you smile.
Tell us what act of kindness you did today.
Here’s my best smile for the day! An unusual occurrence. 🙂

May’s comment: The first Friday of October is World Smile Day (R).

Emojis are so much a part of our communication these days. But the original emoji, a smiley face was created in 1963 by Harvey Ball, a commercial artist and ad man from Worcester, Massachusetts. It is by far the most used and most recognisance symbol of good will and good cheer – it knows no politics, has no geographical boundaries and no religious association.

Harvey thought that or at least one day each year, should be World Smile Day®. And so he declared the first Friday in October each year to be the day we remember to smile and to do an act of kindness to help one person SMILE!
