Look at that yummy bag of biscuits! That was so thoughtful. Thank you.
When we were Holkham, we stayed at The Victoria Inn.
The rooms had funny names – ours was Honk’s Pit.
What did we do wrong to be in a pit?
Regardless, it was a lovely room for all of us to lay our weary heads after running all afternoon on the beach!
They even had a bed for us, but it wasn’t necessary. 🙂
Dogs are allowed all over the ground floor …
See what I mean?
And also in the dining area.
This is us, looking on for any hand me downs. Waiting ever so quietly …
And patiently.
I guess certain dogs don’t get to stay in the rooms so they have kennels outside – I wonder if it’s because they’re too big or maybe when they run out of dog-friendly rooms, the owners can opt to put their dogs outside. Please don’t do that to us, Mummy!!!! Besides Georeg will squeeze right through those bars and then it will just be me left in there.
And yes, I was told I had to apologise to the father deer for chasing one of them yesterday. 🙁
P.S. Now he’s scary. The other one didn’t have antlers.
May’s comment: The Victoria Inn on the Holkham estate is 1 mile from our “beach house” – Holkham Hall, walking distance from the beach and 1.7 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea. Perfectly located!
There are 10 elegantly individually decorated rooms – some are designated to be dog-friendly – so it’s a matter of what is available.
Dogs are allowed all over the ground floor – so we were able to dine together. The only places where dogs are not allowed are in the non-dog friendly rooms.
Located at Park Rd, Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea NR23 1RG
