Have a good trip, Mummy! We’ll see you soon!
Mummy’s going on one of her trips where we can’t go along.
So George has gone off to stay with Stanley for a few days and then to Jaffa’s – her two favourite pooch friends!
He is so excited to see Stanley, he couldn’t wait to run out.
And I’m off to Jaffa’s to wait for the House of Mutt to come and pick me up – I’m ready for some country runs.
But guess who’s going with Mummy?
Mummy told us that it won’t be a long trip but it’s a place where she can’t take us with her. By week’s end Mummy will be coming home – just like these two bears at Heathrow – wish we could go and meet her at the airport!
May’s comment: Till we are back to our favourite place – Together!
Always the night before we go our separate ways, I feel I need just a few more cuddles.
Darcy is always tuned in once she sees the luggage is out and I am standing over the bag for days pondering over what to pack. She usually sleeps right next to my head but last night, she curled up next to me, right by my side and stayed there all night.
George on the other hand was doing his usual bedtime act and oblivious to changes. He does his usual run to bring a toy and wants me to catch him. Seriously? And when I don’t he comes up on the bed and plonks himself right behind my knee. So last night I had Darcy to the right of me and George to the left – wonderfully trapped!
This is not a very kosher hug, George!
