Today marks the winter solstice – when the Earth’s Northern Hemisphere is tilted as far away from the sun as possible which means today we have the shortest amount of daylight. But along with it comes hope … as from tomorrow the days will start to get longer.
Walking through Kensington Gardens and found this tree taken down by nature.

Of course we had to stop to have a picture taken.

May’s comment:
The winter solstice is the time of ending and beginning, a powerful time — a time to contemplate your mortality. A time to forgive, to be forgiven, and to make a fresh start. A time to awaken. – Frederick Lenz
Have a good day and may tomorrow shine brighter.
