Aunty Lisa knows about me and my treats! So for my birthday – way back in February, she made sure I have my very own treat bag.
Mum had so many ideas for the Lockdown. She was going to make sure we did not get bored – and to use our minds since we couldn’t go for big walks. She had the idea to teach us a few tricks and to play with out ‘educational’ toys.
For that she needed to stock up on the treats.

She took out all the toys that she was grateful she didn’t throw out during the big decluttering.
But we created quite a mess.

George can’t do this puzzle – because it takes strength to move the pieces. But cunning little guy thought he could get to the treats from the bottom,
And this rolling ball makes quite. a lot of noise and it scared him at the beginning but he is no longer afraid of it.
But it keeps rolling all over the place – I had to try and retrieve it from under the drinks trolley.
And Mum ordered snuffle mats from Sticks X Bones. She had them made to order so they don’t clash with the home interiors. LOL!

And George even has a sweater to match his green and grey.

And we learnt a few tricks.

And Mum used them to teach us how to roll out the towel.
We did a few Lockdown challenges –
But I did not have to learn my most clever tricks of all time!

I can open the bag of treats from Edgard Cooper and I made them all disappear – like MAGIC!
I am not sure why Mum doesn’t applaud me for that.
As for that lovely treat bag.

And then there’s Aunty Julie. She knows me really well too! LOL!

I am all about food! Aunty Julie said I should be easy to train because I am food obsessed. Unfortunately, we’re missing the “patience” factor in Mum’s DNA! LOL! Don’t blame me for not being clever with tricks.
May’s comment: Good intentions were soon usurped by lack of patience and to be honest, once I started doing volunteer work – that completely ate into the day. I came home exhausted and fell asleep on the sofa when tuning in to the Daily Press Briefing.
So we didn’t get very far … Darcy picked up a couple of new tricks and George – just one, but they had a lot of treats – and like me – we’ve put on the lockdown pounds.
