Longest Day in the longest six months …

IMG_1056-2-1536x2048-2

And this is the longest hair since I was eight months old – before my first hair cut.

And now that we have officially reached Summer, Mum gave in! I had a haircut today before she gets one.

Now you can see my eyes but I think Mum might be preferring my shaggy chic look. I think she misses my top knot.

On this longest day, when we have 16 hours and 38 minutes of daylight in the UK, the Summer Solstice also usually signals the arrival of Little Tyke and Mini Tyke (what are their new nicknames, again?)

They’re staying put in Ko Samui for the summer.

But sadly, it’s not happening this year. We will miss them.

Though the days, weeks and months seem to have flown by in a wink of an eye, it’s also been a dark and difficult time for a lot of hoomans as well as pooches.

When will this darkness that has descended upon the world leave us? How will it be when all this is over? Wonder if we will continue to appreciate the things we never really did in the world before this. Wonder how quickly we will forget that we once relied on each other more than wants and needs. Probably for many they will appreciate school teachers a lot more! And many might have found the joy of cooking and eating at home – or not! LOL!

May’s comment: We have another six more months of 2020. What next?

If you believe in horoscopes, I would want to believe in what this Chinese Horoscope for 2020 – the Year of the Metal Rat has to say about the second part of this year.

The year 2020 is quite challenging, especially health-wise, but also financially, with obstacles, impediments, and unpredictable situations, which will mainly occur during the first half of the year.

This situation is caused by the negative energy of the annual Flying Star 5, the star of destruction and disasters, which will have a strong influence during the Metal Rat year. The vital force is weak, which is why this year you might feel pretty stressed, even by small things. You will notice slow progress in your projects, which is why you need to be confident in your strength, and you will be successful in bringing everything to a favorable end.

During the first half of the year, you will have more free time, and you will be able to rest and make plans for the future. You will consolidate the relationship with your life partner, and you will spend more time with the kids.

The year 2020 is under the influence of Flying Star 2, which is positioned in the south, causing all kinds of health issues.

The Metal Rat year is difficult and full of obstacles for the Water Chinese zodiac signs, but the other signs will also encounter many hurdles throughout the year, so they need to be more cautious than ever.

The Metal signs will face many difficult moments, and they will be forced to fight fiercely for their rights. The Year of the Rat has ups and downs, but nothing of worth ever comes easy.

During the second half of the year, the health of the chinese zodiac signs will be much improved, their energy and zest for life coming back in full force.

Isn’t that uncanny? And when I told this to Bob, an American friend said – “So the Chinese knew about the virus all along!” LOL!!!! “And maybe it was written by someone in Wuhan back in January!”

We should send this to Trump as evidence!!!!!
