Most pubs are dog-friendly, so it’s not a surprise that Hand-in-Hand pub in Wimbledon welcomes dogs. But it seems it is not just dog-friendly, it has been voted UK’s MOST Dog’s friendly pub 2016 – and we went to find out why.
Hand in Hand pub is in Wimbledon – we thought to take the opportunity to walk with Hebe and her Mummy on the Commons before we headed over for lunch.
We were immediately greeted with bowls of water – much needed after our walk in the park.
But I was more curious about what’s on the table.
They had a special serving of food for canines during the holidays – very exciting!
And here comes our food!
Oh my! That smells yummy!
I can’t reach!What? Sit on the chair? 
And wait?!?!?!?! 
While Mummy was asking what’s in it? 
Minced beef, turkey, parsley, biscuits and beef gravy on the side.
It didn’t take long to finish all that on the plate. Even Hebe who is usually fussy about her food gulped it all down.
So what’s for dessert, I asked Hebe’s mummy.

No wonder they say Hand in Hand pub is the MOST dog-friendly pub in the UK!!!
May’s comments: The Hand in Hand Pub was given the title, Most Dog Friendly Pub – given out by dog-sitting platform DogBuddy for rolling out the red carpet for pooches. And they sure did.
Low-ceilinged, 19th-century cottage on the edge of Wimbledon Common, it’s unsurprising that dogs are very much a part of the scene. 
The Hand in Hand is said to be on a first-name basis with all its doggy clientele,
