The nation of dog lovers have spoken and the most favourite of dogs is the Labrador. Ever faithful, loving, gentle and huggable!
And we Cockapoos made it within the Top 10. We are the most favourite of all the mixed breeds!!!
Now interestingly, the number 2 spot is Mixed Breeds – which means George, the mutt, mongrel, mixed breed – or as we call him, “an accident” – 
beat us Cockapoos! OK, George, you don’t have to rub it in. We are mixed breeds too, you know!
May’s comment: Britain’s Favourite Dog was listed yesterday. Not surprised that cockapoos are at number 7 compared to all the more established pedigrees, and amongst all the new crosses – because we can’t walk down a street in residential London and not run into at least one of them!
And really, I think the Mixed Breed (which, if they included all the poodle crosses) are easily the number one “breed” – by sheer numbers. Very pleased to know the dogs are loved for being who they are and not what they are.
At the end of the day, we all have the best dog(s). They are our number one.
