But thank you Praewa for taking such good care of us! Thank you for all the cuddles.
May’s comment: Darcy was mad at me when she saw me last evening. Instead of running up to me with glee, she barked at me from a distance!!! Maybe it was all those photos she had seen of me and Zeus – she finally could tell me what she thought. 🙂
Praewa told me that Darcy was a little upset the first night after she realised it was not just another play date. That I was not going to pick them up. She became very clingy and followed Praewa everywhere – like she used to do when she was a puppy. She has since become less of a “velcro dog” but it threw her off when she realised I wasn’t there. Over the next few days she stuck close to Praewa and demanded cuddles, sleeping right floe to her. She became more relaxed after the third day.
George on the other hand was running round in circles when he saw me. No issues with him and his resource guarding seems to be under control – at least with Darcy. And Charlie. It must be a matter of who he trusts.
