We went to Marylebone Station relatively early for a Saturday morning to take a train to see Fred in Marlow.
We always arrive at least half an hour before the train – just so we don’t rush. with time to kill, we sat and waited for the platform to be announced.
It wasn’t a long ride to High Wycombe at all but I still took my position on the seat next to Mummy.
When we arrived at his home, Fred was sitting by the window waiting for us!
Hello Fred! You’ve had a haircut since I last saw you.
Fred’s daddy made some tea and brought out the biscuits – I don’t think they were for us but I sure wouldn’t mind having some of them.
It was time for a group photo – but we weren’t focused
As there were all sorts of distractions …
Until the treats were brought out
Ah, they said – you need to move the treats in the direction of the camera
More to the left, someone said – and we moved in sync
While Fred and I focused on the treats, George looked at Mummy and said – Hurry up, Mummy so we can have our treats already!
And then it was time to leave. As we got in the car – see who was at the window looking at us again! Bye Fred!
It’s back to the station to catch a train back to London!
Well, that was a Saturday outing.
