May’s comment: Being at a place with a one Michelin star restaurant, one can’t help but indulge.  Marcello Tully is the resident head chef  and everything was just exquisite. Sorry, Darcy that you could not join me.

IMG_2076The hor d’oeuvre were – R to L: salmon and beetroot, cherry wrapped in black pudding with rice crisps and a glass of olive with orange, carrot   and basil espuma

IMG_2080Roast omato with black olive soup served with bread with an offering of anchovy or garlic and chili butter – both equally delicious.

IMG_2083Fillet of Mallaig sea bream, caper pesto, Drumfearn mussels, cucumber and shallot dressing
