Which look do you prefer?

We ran a poll about my hairstyling.

We call this the ‘Marilyn Monroe’ look …

And this the ‘Teddy Cut’ …

Let’s say there was a lot of talk about dog grooming when the lockdown was announced. As in the hoomans, not us. We knew because there were discussions about buying clippers and shears – but they were all sold out! Mum wasn’t going to chance it anyway so she made decision to let our hair grow as long as we’re in Lockdown.

This was me on the 16th March – a week before the Lockdown was announced.

Almost a month later, I was still pretty much ok.

Mum was pleased with how things were going. Then something happened …

Mum knew she had to do the deed. She gave in to washing us …

All’s well …

And then the fringe started to grow …

And started to have a life of it’s own!

And it was time for the next wash …

And when Mum had me all clean …

This emerged …

Uh-oh!

As time went on – the fringe grew …

Then one day as I was sniffing the streets on a walk in an area unfamiliar to us, I walked into a wall. Don’t worry, we were at a very slow sniffing pace but that decided it for Mum. Top-knots!

It made her laugh so much!

But top knots didn’t last – it came off …

And as we have it, Summer arrived last weekend – and Mum thought the battle had been lost. She couldn’t let me go into Summer looking like a hairy ball.

She booked me in for a groom. And after she did – she wasn’t sure.

So she decided to take a poll on my Instagram account –

and guess which won?

I might over time grow her hair again. She did look so cute with the top knot!

This time I even got some bow ties … LOL!!!!
