This morning when we went out for an early morning walk, I didn’t realise I was going to see Zavia.
So all of a sudden I see my old friend coming down the road with her Daddy, Lucas. I was so, so excited!!!

Getting to be familiar with each other again.
After our initial fleet of excited tail wagging and smelling each other out, we hurried across the Promenade des Anglais to run on the “plage!” Actually we’re not allowed on the beach at this time of year – that’s why we go early in the morning before anyone is there. At times, we are back on the leash in consideration of those on the beach.
Of course we will meet those who are happy to see us, and there’s always one who would shout at us. But we don’t care. We just ran and chased each other. As always Zavia is faster than I am – I am chasing her as fast as I could but she’s quick. The beach is pebbly so it’s hard work running.
And as we ran – the sun came up! How wonderful it is to enjoy this with my very special friend, Zavia!

It was the best fun! I wanted to see her because she had a bad accident three months ago but she’s recovering well.
