3 new dog friendly Asian restaurants!

Mum loves everything Christmas! Especially turkey, mince pies, Brussel sprouts and Panettone!

But even she tires of them after awhile and look for a different choice of food. So we are thrilled to have found three more Asian restaurants that are dog-friendly.

CHOJO

A cosy Chinese restaurant and tea house in the Westbourne Grove neighbourhood. 16 Garway Road , London W2 4NH. They serve Taiwanese Tapas.

Sticks ‘n’ Sushi

Japanese and Danish fusion on Kings Road, Chelsea. They have several venues but the one closest to us is at 113-115 King’s Road, London, SW3 4NT

Ugly Dumpling

In Soho – at 1 Newburgh Street, Carnaby, London – has the funniest name.

We bumped into one of our blog readers yesterday while on Kings Road – they went to one of the places on our Wine and Dine List!

It’s not easy to find Asian restaurants that are dog-friendly but we are making progress. These are the other Asian dog-friendly London restaurants that we have eaten at:

A. Wong

A Michelin star, upmarket Chinese eatery for dim sum and a menu showcasing regional Chinese cuisine. They are cautious about new dogs coming into their smallish restaurant. They have a local clientele that bring their dogs but recent incident had made them a bit wary. There’s a table where we are always seated to avoid any possible mishaps. During the summer they have outdoor seating and dogs are allowed. 70 Wilton Rd, Pimlico, London SW1V 1DE

The Duck and Rice

Dim sum with dogs on a Sunday – heaven!!! Stylish British pub with copper beer tanks and upstairs dining room serving elevated Chinese dishes. Dogs are only allowed downstairs in the bar area but you can have the same menu as upstairs. The same proprietor as Hakkasan and Yauatcha – prefer not to mention Wagamama and Busaba Eathai. 90 Berwick St, London W1F 0QB

Kurobuta

A contemporary version of the traditional Japanese Izakaya, is the very hip Japanese bar and grill. The previous chef of Nobu now has his own restaurant in Chelsea and Marble Arch. The Chelsea restaurant allow dogs in. It is very noisy so if you decide to dine here with your pooches, I would request to sit closer to the front and on a beautiful spring day when the doors are open, it’s better than being in the back room where it is crowded and noisy. 312 King’s Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 5UH

The Marble Arch branch also allow dogs but they prefer to seat dogs and owners for the earlier sittings – as it does get very noisy. 17-20 Kendal St, London W2 2AW

Vietnamese restaurant in Notting Hill. Its dog-friendly.

OKA Restaurants

Traditional Japanese & fusion hand-made sushi combined with hot wok dishes from all over the world. There are three OKA restaurants – Primrose Hill, Chelsea and Carnaby Street. The one in Carnaby Street only allow dogs when it is not busy as it is a small restaurant, and probably not big dogs. 251 Kings Road, Chelsea, or 71 Regent’s Park Rd, London NW1 8UY

Suksan
