It is indeed true for our little George. Yesterday Mummy decided to start introducing him to the big new world we live in.
She took him on the bus along King’s Road – it is not his first time. But he sat still and watched all that was happening around him. 
Mummy took him to her hairdresser’s. I can imagine what it must have seem like for him – it is a world full of new sights and different sounds. I have been going here ever since I was a puppy. In the early days, they used to have some of the staff walk me while Mummy gets her hair done. But not any more. These days I know the routine. But today I didn’t get to go as Mummy thought it was best to let George take in the sights and sounds and become familiar with this new world he belongs to.
Of course George attracted tons of attention. Everyone stopped by to say hello …
Lots of cuddles
He sat on Mummy’s lap the whole time, watching a these humans do funny things, listening to new sounds …
And must be wondering what was going on.
When Mummy was getting her hair washed, he sat at the end of the chair and looked around.
And they all wondered how he would react to the hair dryer – he was very calm because he had heard that sound before at home.

Needless to say, everyone was at first startled that Mummy was with another dog! They all did ask where I was – well, Mummy said she wanted to give George a chance to experience something new without the distraction of me. Anyway, everyone insisted the next time, the whole family should be there. OK!
Just outside Richard Ward is the Duke of York Square . When they walked past the Saatchi Gallery, Mummy tried to get him to pose – but he hasn’t learnt to do that very well yet.
Then they got on the bus to come home
