In the spirit of the Olympics, we had an international gathering at Kensington Gardens.
Of course there was Maddie who is currently staying with us. She’s a Cavalier King Charles who came to live in London from the U.S. Her owners are Californian and Swedish.
Maddie was introduced to Krolle which means curly in Norwegian.
Krolle is a Shih-Tzu Poodle cross and he recently came in a car to London all the way from Oslo!
And his Mummy was very popular with us.
And then along came Millie – and she’s a cockapoo who just arrived from NYC a couple of weeks ago. However, her parents are Kiwis.
So in the spirit of the Olympic Games, here’s our international gathering … but none of us are from Rio!
L-R: Krolle (Norway), Maddie (US), Me (UK) George (Hungary) Little Tyke is not a pooch but he’s from Thailand and Millie (US/NZ).
So guys, how are we doing on the medal tally at Rio 2016? Looks like Maddie’s leading the pack!
May’s comment: New recruits for our next Hyde Park Doodle meet – Krolle from Norway and Millie from NYC! Next meet will be the 28 August at 10.30am.
“Olympism is a philosophy of life, exalting and combining in a balanced whole the qualities of body, will and mind. Blending sport with culture and education, Olympism seeks to create a way of life based on the joy found in effort, the educational value of good example and respect for universal fundamental ethical principles.“
