All systems go for #BARK STREET Party – 12 June

Bark Walk 1

I was on hand to make sure everything is going as planned for the Bark Walk Street Party.IMG_0227 Woof! I say to the idea of pizzas and prosecco and Dog Treats!IMG_0226 To celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday and her love for our four-legged friends, all local restaurants and retailers of Park Walk (Chelsea, London) are joining forces for a dog-themed street party in aid of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Enjoy a day of face painting, pet grooming, bouncy castles, raffles and a selection of food and drink from maze Grill, The Henry Root, GOAT, Mandaloun, Bacchus, Kosmopol and Chelsea Wine Cellar.

Artist Allison Elliott will be at the Jonathan Cooper Gallery to do on the spot sketches of your pooch!

But before the party begins there will be a celebratory service at St Andrews Chelsea and all dogs are welcome!

Prizes for the raffle includes:

  • A Safari meal at GOAT, maze Grill, The Henry Root
  • A pair of trainers from Sports Edit
  • A beach tote bag from Love Brand & Co.
  • Spa Treatment at The Pet Spa
  • Hamper from Purple Bone which includes a dog bed, dog treats, a Union Jack Bow Tie Collar and a London Guard Toy
  • A hamper form Pet Pavilion
  • Drinks vouchers worth at Kosmopol
  • £100 voucher for Bacchus
  • £100 dinner voucher at The Chelsea Cellar

And I was there to give support all the way!IMG_0229(Planning meeting at GOAT)

  1. Boy, Miss Darcy! Your planning group did super well! What a great day you are going to have on the 12th! Wish my dogs and I were not stuck in North Carolina or we would be there buying raffle tickets, having spot sketches made, and having all sorts of fun raising awareness and funds for the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home! What a great way to celebrate the Queen’s birthday, too. Maybe she’ll drop by with one or two of her Corgis!

  2. It sounds like a lot of fun. It’s a good job you were there Miss D to give the planning committee the benefit of you expertise!
