We almost missed the Pet Blessing at All Saints Fulham Church because of George. But we made it!
I was actually exhausted from all that running in the park so I happily sat down on the church pew.
While Stanley wanted a better view and
also decided to walk the ledge of the pews
There were a lot of us dogs

And we prayed – “Holy God, whose loving care extends to all living things; bless and protect these creatures which you have put into our hands and help us to cherish their lives knowing that all life is precious in your sight. Amen.”
After the blessing was over, as the Reverend walked past, I jumped up at him – wanting to tell him that George needed to have confession for his sins!
But he thought I was Stanley! LOL!
And then the service was over and all the dogs and a few cats and even some worms left the pews as we greeted each other.
Here comes Oggie! We know him.
That’s Rocky! He’s been to our Hyde Park Meets!
There were cakes and tea for every human but not us pets
Once outside away from all the hustle and bustle, we got to say a proper hello to Oggie!
And Archie, the labradoodle
May’s comment: Another lovely Pet Blessing service and felt really special saying our covenant with our pets –
Will you care for your pet as God’s own creature?
All: I will with God’s grace
Will you love and protect your pet as long as it lives?
All: I will with God’s grace
Will you be faithful and kind in good times and in bad?
