Dining al fresco

IMG_1871 (1)

Sitting outside at Colette which sells prepared foods. They have set up tables outside for their customers.

We were just dropping in to buy some food. We love going inside as they always have doggy treats for us.

But Mum is still hesitant about dining out.

We did stop in at Juice Baby, which was open the whole lockdown, just to sit down for a quick drink – the first time since February!

Are we allowed to sit down, Mum?

But we remembered the drill and we immediately went under the table …

We always sit at Mum’s feet and watch the world go by outside.

Walking around the neighbourhood, we saw most people sitting outside rather than indoors.

It gave Mum a bit more confidence, and to support local business they say. And so we did.

At our local – Maze Grill

We stopped to have an early supper sitting outside at Maze Grill.

Ah yes, it’s all coming back. We remember that bread that they give us. As Mum’s trying not to eat too much carbs (not no carbs) so George and I got to share it.

It’s good for the jawline firming chew.

Mays’ comment: Maybe dining al fresco will be one of the new norms in London – which is tricky with the English weather

Not something we can do all the time but as long as the weather holds.

Haven’t had a burger since – I cannot remember when!

There were no menus and you had to order from an App. And the table were set at 2metres apart. We felt safe. And after the short walk home, I washed my hands and hope all will be well.
