As both a dog lover and an interior designer, I was delighted to attend the afternoon tea and champagne launch of The Pedigree Edit and Park Life Collection in the elegant Loggia Room at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
Created by interior designer Sophie Paterson in collaboration with luxury linen specialist Gilly Nicolson, The Pedigree Edit celebrates the dogs who share our homes and our hearts. Inspired by Sophie’s beloved miniature dachshund Pip, the collection features beautifully illustrated canine motifs across cushions, wash bags, towels, bed linen and bathrobes.

Alongside this, Sophie has partnered with Andrew Martin on the Park Life Collection. Set against classic linen and herringbone-effect backgrounds, the collection of wallpapers, fabrics and cushions brings together timeless British style with personality, warmth and a touch of playfulness.

I particularly loved the subtle nod to British heritage throughout both collections, from the tartan accents to the classic countryside influences, all reimagined for contemporary interiors.
Both collections also support wonderful canine causes. Proceeds from The Pedigree Edit benefit Battersea, while Park Life supports Dogs Trust — celebrating the dogs who enrich our lives while helping those still waiting for their forever homes.
Beautiful interiors tell stories. Sometimes those stories have four legs and a wagging tail.
