May was a month overflowing with movement, memories, friendship, and unforgettable moments. It began with Tails in Bloom photoshoots by Andrew of Raven Imagery supporting a special cause before unfolding into a beautiful stretch of travel across Ibiza, Barcelona, and Andorra. After previously visiting Ibiza with George, this time it became Lulu’s turn to experience the island, making the trip feel especially meaningful. Precious time spent with Sandra and Jessie brought warmth, laughter, and the kind of connection that makes travel unforgettable.
The travels also marked a special milestone, with Andorra becoming Lulu’s 19th country visited, another chapter added to her growing collection of adventures.

Back in London, the month became equally centred around connection and celebration. It was a month of dining with friends, discovering some of London’s best restaurants, and enjoying exciting pop-ups and memorable culinary experiences throughout the city. Welcoming friends visiting from abroad added even more joy and energy, making the month feel wonderfully international and full of life.

Among the many highlights was returning for a fifth year to Goodwoof 2026, still one of the most joyful weekends of the year and a celebration of everything that makes life with dogs so special.

Another standout moment was being invited to travel on The Chairman’s Train, an experience that felt elegant, nostalgic, and wonderfully unique, one of those rare occasions that lingers long after it ends.
May also unexpectedly became a month filled with music and nostalgia. Two nights at The O2 brought the excitement of seeing Louis Tomlinson and Zayn live, making it feel like the year of One Direction all over again. With two concerts already attended and more still to come later this year, it added another layer of joy, excitement, and nostalgia woven into the month.

And somewhere amongst all the travelling, celebrations, and dinners came quieter moments filled with reflection and memory. The Darcy Clematis on the kitchen windowsill bloomed at just the right time, feeling like a gentle reminder of love continuing to find ways to show itself. There was also the memory of the day Darcy first came into my life, the moment we became “us”, a thought that seemed to sit softly underneath the entire month.

This May also finally brought to life something years in the making: a “May the Fourth Be With You” reel. I had even bought an R2D2 mechanical toy years ago to film it with Darcy, but despite every attempt, could never figure out how it actually worked. Then, when Tammy visited this year, she casually discovered the solution, and at last, the video finally happened. A funny, heartfelt full-circle moment that somehow carried both joy and nostalgia all at once.

To top it all off, there was the excitement of hearing that Banksy had made his presence felt once again, this time through a statue, adding another unexpected spark of curiosity and conversation to an already extraordinary month.
