On our last night in Mallorca, Manuela suggested we have dinner in a finca, Sa Tafona. Lovely, I thought, we can sit outside and enjoy the last rays of sun.
As we entered the lovely courtyard – we saw a cat! Hmmm. This is his territory, so I shall be quiet.
As I looked around a little more, I see three more cats!
Now this is becoming dangerous territory as they could gang up against me.
Whoa! Another one?!?!?! That’s four!
OMG!!! And there’s one up on the tree looking down on his possible prey. FIVE cats in close vicinity.
And then I saw some strange beast in the adjacent field – a grey four-legged beast!
It’s a donkey and he too was wearing a bell.
Terrified, I started to bark at it. It looked over at me which scared me even more! Bark! Bark! Bark! Go away, you beast!
But it got worst. As I heard the sound of other bells coming towards us. There were EIGHT donkeys.
I started to bark and growl and then I felt a yank on my leash – as Mummy led me away. I ended up in the car.
May’s comment: Not very polite to disturb others when they are having dinner at a lovely place. I had to take him away as he was getting uncontrollable – his barking frenzy when his whole body is tensed with excitement or fear or anger. It was one of those barks that was not going to stop. We were sitting outside and the car was only 50m away. He had to go.

Oh dear Georgie, poor you! Never mind I bet you felt safer in the car.
