Er, what do you mean I need to take the supplements for Senior dogs?!?!?!

“Doxel Senior is the perfect supplement for senior dogs. It helps to fight osteoarthritis and decrease pain caused by hernias or hip problems.”
But isn’t it George that had all the problems with his legs and patella?
Then I looked at the Doxel 4all which was recommended for George. It says “ideal for calming and preventing possible skin and fur problems in our dogs. It also protects their joints on a daily basis.” Ah, that makes sense – calming being the key word.

May’s comment: We were recommended to look at Doxel Supplements for their well being. Rather unique bottles.

There are three Doxel products for: Senior, Sports and 4All
I was thinking, surely it should be Sports for Darcy as she is still running like an athlete, but I think it is time to think about prevention rather than cure. Darcy turns ten in three months and though she still trots around like an eager pup, and haven’t any joint issues like George does, this is more preventative then cure.
The senior concoction have the ideal vitamins, together with a balance of omega 3:6:9 to combat osteoarthritis and decrease possible pain caused by hernias or hip problems. They act as chondroprotectors, protecting cartilage and bone, and improving joints. The natural extract of olive favors the anti-aging preventing health problems that occur in senior dogs. Reduces inflammatory processes and, in addition, it provides a strengthened Immune System while leaving them a shiny coat and a healthy skin, thanks to its natural antioxidants and healthy fatty acids.
For George, we’re trying a daily dose of Doxel 4all. It provides him with a unique balance of omega 3:6:9 and natural vitamins, such as Vitamin E. It’s natural antioxidants and healthy fatty acids strengthens the immune system, help prevent possible inflammatory diseases and care for its joints.
Cameline oil, the main base of Doxel Supplements, is very different from salmon oil, which we used for awhile. Besides being free of heavy metals, and not being a refined oil, it does not cause bad breath, nor does it increase cholesterol.
Both Darcy and George don’t mind them being added to their food. And I think that they would absorb this better than pills which Darcy would pick from her food.

So fingers crossed – these will just help them along sooting out any potential joint problems as they age. Of course I cannot tell you how effective they are as it’s preventative, but as long as it doesn’t bother their tummy I can only hope it helps them as they age.
