Six weeks to go!

This year Goodwoof will take place on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18. As always, it promises an unforgettable celebration of all things dog, with exciting activities, expert talks, and plenty of four-legged fun. And it will be bigger than ever!

Returning to the stunning fields surrounding The Kennels of Goodwood Estate for its fourth consecutive year.

This is a taste of what to expect:

Every year, Goodwoof celebrates a breed of dog. In the past they Spaniels, Labradors and Poodles. This year, they are calling all dachshund owners! There will be a spectacular parade on both Saturday and Sunday.

Expect to see a parade of daschunds to the beat of drums and fanfare.

And when that is over, the fun begins!

Goodwoof 2025 will again bring together experts and competitors at the top of their field to take part in the competitions and demonstrations across the weekend.

The thrilling Goodwood Flyball Championship returns this year with seven top quality teams invited to compete and the Gundog and Sheepdog Trials will again showcase the top competitors in action.

There will also be chances for you and your dog to compete at Goodwoof. Moving to its new home, The Green, Fastest Dog Presented by DHL will give all dogs the opportunity to race for the title of Fastest Dog.

Have-a-go activities return, where you and your dog can try out flyball, hurdles and more, and Fido’s Lido presented by LeShuttle will be a place for your dogs to take a cooling dip after a busy day.

New for 2025, the Art Café will give guests the chance to try their hand at learning a new craft with one of our talented artisans. Have a go at printing, illustration, painting and more. Joining us this year will be Anita Mangan, Rob Biddulph and more to be announced.

Boogie to dog disco to music from DJs including DJ Fat Tony at the Ministry of Hound Curtis with AJ Pritchard will leading the pack!

The highly anticipated Barkitecture kennel design competition. Spearheaded by Kevin McCloud and The Duke of Richmond, the Barkitecture kennel design competition will see world-renowned architects present their designs inspired by this year’s theme From Nature; For Nature.

On Sunday 18 May, Bonhams will auction off each design to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to the Goodwoof 2025 charity partner, Wild at Heart Foundation. The Foundation that works to compassionately reduce the global stray dog population; to end the suffering and improve the welfare of abandoned, unwanted, and vulnerable stray dogs overseas, whilst also supporting welfare and education work in the UK.

In years past, The Literary Corner had us listening to familiar faces reading and sharing their stories. Both new and familiar faces will be there again for this year’s event. Hear from Michael Morpurgo, Russell Kane, James Middleton, Hugh Bonneville, Kevin McCloud, Clare Balding and more to be announced.

On the beautiful Woodland Walk you will find tarot card reading, crystal healing and dog astrology and more. It offers a whole new way to connect with, and understand your pooches. I always stop for a tarot card reading whenever I can to see what Darcy has to say (she had communicated many a time through previous readings).

Throughout the day, Chien Charmant judges will again be on the lookout for guests with personality, elegance and the shared flair that makes each dog and human pair much more than the simple sum of its parts. Chien Charmant is more than a fashion show, it is all about the deep bond between human and hound.

There will be food and beverages at Goodwoof, but you can also enjoy a delicious picnic or a feast, provided by Fortnum & Mason, in the rolling hills of the Goodwood Estate.

This is a perfect way to enjoy fabulous food and enhance your weekend. You can order your Fortnum & Mason picnic or hamper here.

This year, take the time to treat yourself to a delicious afternoon tea and enjoy a tour of the spectacular art collection on display in Goodwood House during your day out at Goodwoof.

Usually at day’s end, you can alway find us at the Taittinger Champagne Bar! So if you want to come meet us – we will be there toasting the day!

This year we are excited to see some of our London brands at Goodwoof.

The Grooming Parlour where dogs can enjoy a one-to-one consultation with expert groomers from the incredible team at Chelsea’s Love My Human Townhouse. They will assess your dog’s coat and give you advice on how best to care for it in their grooming talks and demonstrations. They will also show you how to correctly brush your hound’s teeth to keep them in top condition, before giving your hound a quick spruce up and pamper.

And of course there is Retail Therapy! More opportunities to browse dog and lifestyle brands. This year, look out for our friend Alice of DOGSDOGSCATSDOGS – she will be showcasing her daschund wares in addition to a whole slew of other breeds. If you are there to shop – you won’t be disappointed!

Early bird tickets for Goodwoof 17-18 May are on sale now. Get your entry tickets here before the 5 May.

We can’t wait!
