Can you believe it? The highly anticipated Goodwoof 2026 is just a month away, and this year feels more meaningful than ever.

Each year, Goodwoof shines a spotlight on a beloved breed. We’ve seen the elegance of Spaniels, the flair of Poodles, and the undeniable charm of Dachshunds take centre stage. The celebrations always begin in spectacular fashion, with a joyful parade setting off from the iconic Goodwood House and winding its way down to the festival grounds, tails wagging, crowds cheering, and excitement building with every step.

But this year, it’s something truly special.

For the first time ever, rescue dogs will lead the parade. They’ll come in all shapes and sizes, a wonderful mix of breeds and backgrounds, but what will make them truly unforgettable is the stories they carry. Each one tells a story of resilience, second chances, and the extraordinary bond between dogs and their humans.

And of course, George and Lulu will be right there in the heart of it all, taking part in the parade on both Saturday and Sunday, proudly marching alongside their fellow rescue buddies. Honestly, it might just be the most heartwarming opening yet.

The Rescue Dog Parade will be the standout moment of 2026. Expect stories of hope, transformation, and pure love as rescue dogs proudly take the lead.

What else to Expect at Goodwoof 2026

The range of things to do with your dogs is vast, varied and downright joyful. Here’s a taste of what awaits at the ultimate celebration of dogs and their humans:

Doga, Spa & Wellness Zones

From doga (dog yoga) and reiki to sound baths and massages, both you and your pup can unwind in blissful calm.

Fastest Dog & Action Sports

The DHL Fastest Dog 50m sprint brings high-energy thrills, alongside Flyball, Canicross, and Sheepdog Trials, showcasing agility and teamwork.

Barkitecture

Led by Kevin McCloud, Barkitecture is where design meets dog life in this creative competition. The theme for the year is Dogs in Space. The beautifully crafted kennels will be auctioned on the 17th for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Chien Charmant

More than a dog show—it’s all about connection, charisma, and personality, judged across Union, Swagger, and Spirit.

Literary Corner

Another one of ur favourites, the Literary Corner is a cosy cultural hub featuring talks from dog-loving authors like Clare Balding, James Middleton, and Sir Michael Morpurgo.

Woodland Walk & Field & Trail

Explore scenic trails, discover truffle hunting, meet a pet psychic, and enjoy live countryside demonstrations.

Fido’s Lido, Doggy Disco & The Zen Den

Splash in the Lido, then dance the night away at the legendary Ministry of Hound doggy disco.
Or slow things down at The Zen Den—a relaxed retreat where you can explore tarot readings, crystal healing, astrology, forest bathing, and sound baths.

Champagne, Hampers & Doggy Spa

Indulge in Taittinger champagne and Fortnum & Mason hampers, while your pup enjoys pampering at Love My Human.

Remembrance Tree & Rescue Awareness

A deeply moving space centred around the Ruby Tree, where ribbons honour beloved dogs who are no longer with us. This is one of our favourite spots.

GOODWOOF – A Festival Like No Other

Goodwoof, often called the Glastonbury for dogs, isn’t just a festival. It’s a celebration of companionship, joy, and everything that makes life with dogs so extraordinary.

And in 2026, with rescue dogs leading the way, it feels even more powerful.

Whether you’re paddling in the Lido, cheering at the races, or simply soaking in those tail-wagging moments, one thing’s certain: this year is going to be unforgettable.

It is truly a dog event like no other. And the good news is that we are only a month away from Goodwoof 2026
