May’s comment: In the darkest night, we welcome the return of the light.
But it is also at this time of year when we see so many pretty lights and Christmas decorations. They warm the heart and make the darkness magical.
We took these photos by Claridge’s 2022 Christmas Tree – The Diamond Tree by Jimmy Choo. Standing 5 metres tall, it is a magnificent sculptural creation with sparkling lights and a giant glittering pink bow at the top.
