“I-ra-sha-i-ma-se” – they called out. “Welcome!” – and we were! So excited to have found ANOTHER Japanese/Asian restaurant that welcome pooches!
Kurobuta on King’s Road … we have walked past it often and at the beginning it was a no dogs policy but since then they have changed their minds!
Mummy wanted to show her friends the many aspects of London, this was one of the places to take them to. She walked in one day to book the restaurant and so happened to ask and she couldn’t believe her ears when the gentleman at the reception said, “Oh yeah. We do.”
Only “small” as in my size and well-behaved dogs! We made the requirements.
May’s comment: Kurobuta, a contemporary version of the traditional Japanese Izakaya, is the very hip Japanese bar and grill on King’s Road. 
The previous chef of Nobu now has his own restaurant in Chelsea and Marble Arch. They serve small plates –
of traditional Japanese and interpretations of it – like this wagyu beef slider.
Their Chelsea restaurant allow dogs. It is very noisy so if you decide to dine here with your pooches, I would request to sit closer to the front and on a beautiful spring day when the doors are open,
it’s better than being in the back room where it is crowded and noisy. We have not been to the one in Marble Arch but they have outdoor seating so it’s more than likely dogs are allowed there.

We now have four Asian restaurants in our Wine & Dine list! We’re still missing Indian on our list of cuisine. We’d love to go for a curry sometime.
