The Twelve Days of Christmas … TWELVE days of presents and treats? Wow!Camilla, will you read to me?Yay! Camilla!
You are really the best! Thank you!On the first day, a lover is sending a Partridge in a Pear Tree – what about a squirrel?
Gosh, this goes on a bit. I am starting to have a glazed look and we’re only on the seventh day – 7 Swans a Swimming, 6 Geese a Laying, 5 Golden Rings, 4 Calling Birds, 3 French Hens, 2 Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
Oops, sorry, I was just starting to doze off So that was it? No squirrels on a pear tree, no liver treats, no balls a bouncing Jaffa asked, “Was it a good book, old wise and experienced one, Darcy?”YAWN!!!!
May’s comment: The Twelve Days of Christmas does go on a bit …
12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping

9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids a Milking
7 Swans a Swimming
6 Geese a Laying
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
And it means Christmas is over. 🙁
