The Twelve Days of Christmas … TWELVE days of presents and treats? Wow!
Camilla, will you read to me?
Yay! Camilla!
You are really the best! Thank you!
On the first day, a lover is sending a Partridge in a Pear Tree – what about a squirrel?
… on the sixth day, 6 geese were a laying, there were 5 Golden Rings, 4 Calling Birds, 3 French Hens, 2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Gosh, this goes on a bit.
I am starting to have a glazed look and we’re only on the seventh day – 7 Swans a Swimming, 6 Geese a Laying, 5 Golden Rings, 4 Calling Birds, 3 French Hens, 2 Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
Oops, sorry, I was just starting to doze off
So that was it? No squirrels on a pear tree, no liver treats, no balls a bouncing
Jaffa asked, “Was it a good book, old wise and experienced one, Darcy?”
YAWN!!!!
May’s comment: The Twelve Days of Christmas does go on a bit …
12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords a Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids a Milking
7 Swans a Swimming
6 Geese a Laying
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
And it means Christmas is over. 🙁

I love the 12 days of Christmas. But my story goes a little bit differnt. My little Fleas Navidad story goes like this
Day one do you want a dog?
Day 2 How about a golden retreaver?
Day 3 What about a ceasar dog?
Day 4 maybe a pitbull?
Day 5 how about a sheep dog?
Day 6 how about a Chihuahua ?
Day 7 here guess what this is?
Day 8 look at that big box it is yours?
Day 9 here is another box? Hehe
Day 10 guess we will get a tea cup chihuahua? Later?
Day 11 Christmas eve let’s go for a ride. We go to Fort Plains New York and he hands me at tiny little puppy smaller than a Christmas Card.
She is a beautiful white and a apercot.
Cockapoo . I am in love.
Day 12 Christmas. She is perfect. And all the gifts are treats, collars, leashes, pillows, bed, food, and anything else you would need for a puppy.
Christmas is wonderful. With a cockapoo in it.
And your storytelling is fantastic.
Lovely!!!! Thank you for sharing!
I had considered a whippet and a daschund and then happened upon a cockapoo!
So happy!!!!
