But sometimes it is not just your usual ice-cream as we know it.
The Ice Cream Project is back!!!
The Ice Cream Project at Anya’s Village, 11 Pont Street, London SW1 serves the most unusual flavours inspired by @AnyaHindmarch favourite cult food brands.
The selection of 14 different unexpectedly delicious ice creams and sorbets include :🍦Ambrosia Rice Pudding 🍦Bird’s Eye Petits Pois 🍦Blue Dragon Sweet Chili 🍦Branston Pickle 🍦Heinz Tomato Ketchup 🍦Kellogg’s Rice Krispies 🍦Kellogg’s Coco Pops 🍦Kikkoman Soy Sauce 🍦KP Original Salted Peanuts. 🍦Maldon Salt. 🍦McVities Digestives🍦Ribena 🍦Warburtons Crumpets 🍦Wilkin & Sons Lemon Curd
Handcrafted in small batches in Devon, each ice cream flavour is created using high-quality ingredients. Flavours are available by the scoop to savour on the spot, or in 500ml tubs to take away. 🍨😋
Sasha tried the Kikkoman Soy Sauce, Maldon Salt and Branston Pickle. Mum had Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Maldon Salt and Salted Peanuts. She said – “Must return to try more flavours!”

And one of our favourite patisseries had a new announcement – a new flag proudly flies over The Connaught Patisserie in Mayfair with Nicolas Rouzaud’s name on it.
To celebrate the occasion, we were invited to discover their Summer 2023 Collection.
Even their signature chocolate Connaught Hound has a summer makeover. It has been transformed into a vibrant lemon zest mousse with blueberry confit and 🕶️ to go with it!
And Mum’s perennial favourite, the Paris Brest, has not been left out!

Summer time is also all about flowers. We were delighted to have been invited to check out Cake & Flowers at The Dorchester at The Dorchester, 53 Park Lane, London W1K 1QA
What a lovely concept! Two beautiful things in one place.
The Dorchester hotel in London has opened Cake and Flowers, a destination patisserie and florist selling gourmet cakes and couture florals🍰🍰 Bringing together the talents of designer florist Philip Hammond and executive pastry chef Michael Kwan, the patisserie-florist has its own entrance on the Deanery Street corner of the hotel.
On display are signature cakes to take away in chic packaging 🧁🧁 or to enjoy in The Garden.
A perfect destination to stop after walkies in Hyde Park.
There’s always art in London wherever you go. One of the highlights each Summer is the Serpentine Pavilion. This year marks the 22nd pavilion.
À Table designed by Lina Ghotmeh-Architecture is a space for grounding and reflection on our relationship to land, nature and environment.
Gather round the Pavilion’s long table with friends and family all summer long. You’re invited to use the space as a place to convene, sit down, think, share and eat together.

And this year’s summer exhibit “Web(s)of Life” by Tomas Sarraceno at the Serpentine South Gallery is dog-friendly. Well, maybe just the West Gallery where it explores animal perspectives and the climate emergency, featuring artworks designed for dogs, a drawing room just for kids and outdoor sculptures inspired by the species in the park.
Tomás Saraceno is a multimedia artist whose work embraces interdisciplinarity and interconnectedness across ecosystems. Saraceno’s first UK solo exhibition invites participants to consider different forms of knowledge and non-human perspectives through a range of artworks, prompts and experiences which extend past the walls of Serpentine South, into The Royal Parks and beyond.

And when you’ve had a chance to take in all the summer installations, head on over to The Magazine restaurant (at the Serpentine North Gallery) – a great dog friendly place for a coffee / breakfast.
And when doggies can’t attend David Hockney’s exhibition, we went to The Mirror Room at The Rosewood Hotel for the latest art inspired Afternoon Tea.
Their Afternoon Teas have always been one of the best we’ve ever had and this time around was no different. Paying homage to British artist David Hockney and his exhibition at Lightroom: Bigger & Closer (not smaller and further away), beautiful creations by Executive Pastry Chef Mark Perkins takes on some of his famous works: The Bigger Picture, The Splash, The Arrival of Spring …
The true immersive experience is complete with a ‘Hockneyfication’ by stylist Camilla Wordie.
