Summer must be approaching – there are dog shows every weekend. Yesterday we went to the Great Hampstead Barkoff Day in aid of All Dogs Matter – a dog rescue and rehoming centre for London and Norfolk.
There were dog-themed cakes made in aid of charity.
There were dogs of all sorts.
Even furry pony sized ones!
Inevitably we find the cockapoos! There were lots that passed us along the way – but we got talking to Lulu and hoping she will come to our Hyde Park meets.
There were many people about – some not so clever having lunch on the lawn with dogs running around – especially ones like me (and Rusty) who will always attempt to steal food.
So Mummy thought we better leave. We along with Lucca and Rusty went to Primrose Hill for a pub lunch at The Queen’s.
Happy us – altogether!
But our day’s adventures did not end there!
When we all got into Lucca’s car to go home – it suddenly died in the middle of the street!
Lucca said – “The bloody car just died. Looks like we’ll have to leg it.”
George and I looked at him thinking – You’re kidding us! All the way to south-west London?!?!??! We love our walks but not that long a walk.
Thankfully the car miraculously re-started and we made it back home. Phew!
May’s comments: Lovely day with friends.
